Probetas en polipropileno graduadas con escala serigrafiada en color azul, de fácil lectura.
Cumplen con las normas ISO 6706 y BS 5404.
Son resistentes a la esterilización por vapor a 121°C durante 20 minutos, soportando una carga térmica en trabajo continuo de 100°C, manteniendo la tolerancia después de autoclavarlas repetidamente.
Tienen ausencia total de menisco y sus graduaciones son permanentes.
Químicamente más limpias que el vidrio y no dan lugar a cesiones o absorciones químicas.
Su base hexagonal les asegura una gran estabilidad y en caso de caída evita que giren sobre sí mismas.

En el material tpx la carga térmica no le afecta; se pueden esterilizar tantas veces como sean necesarias, soportando temperaturas con líquidos de hasta 170°C. y con picos de hasta 190°C.
Las paredes de estas probetas son hidrorepulsivas y las graduaciones permanentes.
