120 ml urine container for vacuum tubes
Container to store biological fluids from the human body (urine) and transport to the laboratory for In vitro analysis. Used in hospitals and laboratories.
Manufactured in transparent Polypropylene and designed to be used with vacuum collection tubes.
Leakproof cap, with an internal obturating ring, built in. It includes a cannula with a needle inside protected by a rubber cap and a plastic suction nozzle. The cap features a label that seals the cannula in order to prevent contact with the collection needle.
The container features a wide marking area for sample identification where there is the following mold inscription: Name, Num., Date.
The body of the container also has a mold graduation that helps to quantify the sample when uncapped. Once the container is capped the volume is altered by the cannula.
- Code 408702: non sterile, supplied in bulk.
- Code 408726: non sterile, supplied individually wrapped, printed with instruction for use, batch number and expiry date.
- Code 408702.G: sterile and supplied in bulk; each container is marked with the batch number, the expiry date and the sterilization method.
- Código 408726.G: sterile and supplied individually wrapped, printed with the instruction for use, batch number, expiry date and sterilization method.
Capacity without cap: 145 ml
Capacity with cap: 120 ml
Recommended volume: 60 ml
120 ml urine container for vacuum tubes.
Measures: 57 x 73 mm.
Instruccions for sampling:
1. Open the urine container and place the container and the cap upright on a clean flat surface (with the needle facing up).
2. Collect the middle of specimen, discarding the beginning and the end of the urine. Fill in the container to maximum the half part.
3. Close the container carefully in order to avoid touching the inner part of the container.
4. Give the urine container to the healthcare worke
Sample transfer process:
1. Remove the label placed on the cap to let off the canula.
2. Put the tube on the orifice with the cap facing down.
3. Advance the tube over puncture point to pierce stopper. The urine tube will be filled. Repeat if another tube is to be collected. Hold tube
in position until filled and remove tube from device.
4. Remove the tube when the sample aspiration is finished.
5. Replace the label again covering the orifice.
ATENTION: tubes for vacuum system ref. 408900 and 408910, NOT INCLUDED.
