SPECIFIC USE AND DESCRIPTION

Polyacetyle 6 cell cassette with incorporated lid, for biopsies.

Material totally resistant to the chemical action of histological solvents.

This cassette is especially designed for processing various small samples at the same time.

Features six 7 x 12 mm cells numbered 1 - 6. Each cell has 170 openings measuring 0.26 mm to ensure proper drainage of the specimens.

Cassettes are supplied with covers assembled which eliminates the need for separate steel lids.

Covers can be opened and closed as often as necessary and they always relock securely without danger of specimen loss.

The cover is hinged to the base.

To close the cassette, place the locking device above the slot of the base and push down the lid.

Lift the tab to open.

Above the sloped writing surface of the cassette are 4 little holes designed to eliminate the creation of aira bubbles during the embedding process.

Each cassette has frosted panels on three sides for writing or labelling. The front writingsurface sloped at 45º is compatible with most automated cassette labelling machines.

DIMENSIONS:

  • Length : 40 mm, 44 mm with locking tab.
  • Height with lid : 7 mm; 6 mm without lid. Width : 28 mm.

Cassettes are available in 5 non cytotoxic, non metallic colours.

Each case contains 4 dispensing boxes of 250 cassettes with covers assembled.
