Blood collection tubes

Tubes made of ultra-clear high-strength polypropylene, supplied in racks expanded polystyrene (100 tubes per rack).

Very elastic pre-perforated rubber stopper that has cuts that, by its special design,

automatically regain their watertightness after the introduction and extraction of the sample.

Material: thermoplastic rubber.

Color: red (organic dye).

Tubes labeled. Label indications: Eurotubo ®, DESCRIPTION:/code, lot/date of Expiration.

Suitable for use in most automatic or manual analytical procedures.

It is not necessary to uncover them for the introduction or extraction of the sample.

SPECIFIC USE

Additive: PS granules with activator for blood clotting.

Activity: Coagulation activator activates the passage from fibrinogen to fibrin, shortening clotting time. Granules exert two physical functions with blood: promote the mixing of the activator with blood and separate the pack of blood-blooded blood cells with the serum.

Content: Approximately 0.1 grams/ml of blood (no such relationship needs to be maintained, if the ratio increases because the blood is not introduced total amount of blood indicated, the functionality of the tube is not altered).

Purpose: In clinical tests as a flatterer of blood clotting (blood is obtained to clot within 10 minutes and the blood clot retracts and releases the maximum serum in a time of about 30 minutes, varying depending on the temperature.

Recommended for biochemical determinations, total protein assessments and fractionation, assessments of various enzymes and isoenzymes, Aldolase, alpha-Amylase, LDH, GOT/ASAT, GPT/ALAT, LAP, etc. (not recommended for the assessment of trypsin and chimotripsine); Sodium potassium, magnesium, lithium, calcium, etc. or trace elements, copper, iron, GDP, etc; hormones: T-3, T-4; pigments: Bilirrubin, Carotenes, Lipids, Triglycerides,Total cholesterol, HDL, LDL, VLDL, etc; nitrogenous substances: urea, creatinine, uric acid, etc.

It is recommended that after inserting the blood into the tube, a slight mixing of the granules with the blood sample should be practiced. To do this you should make a simple inversion movement of the tube and slight jolt while in this position, to get in this way homogenize the granules with the blood. One time is enough.

Stability: At room temperature stability of 36 months from manufacture is guaranteed. Loses stability by heating above 55oC.

Storage: Do not continuously expose to the sun, it is recommended to store at a temperature below 45oC.

Centrifugation: Centrifuge for at least 1500-3000 r.p.m. from at least 30 minutes of extraction.

Disposal: by incineration at 500oC with a residue of about 2% of the mass of the tube (mainly calcium carbonate). Applying the local recommendations in place.
