CytoFAST Elite are microbiological and cytotoxic drug safety cabinets designed and built to the performance requirements of European standards EN 12469:2000 and DIN 12980:2005-06. These cabinets protect the integrity of the sample from contamination, protect the researcher and the environment from biohazard. _x000D_

The air is drawn in through the front and then passes through the H14 HEPA/ULPA filter bank under the work surface, from where it is sucked in and blown to the top of the cabinet. The fan system and under-surface filters ensure containment, thus protecting and preserving the environment and operating personnel from exposure to cytotoxic drugs, CMR compounds and biocontamination agents. 70% of the filtered air is recirculated (after passing through an H14 HEPA/ULPA filter) in an ISO Class 3 air cleaning system, according to ISO 14644-1 laminar flow pattern down into the working chamber and the remaining 30% HEPA/ULPA) is exhausted to the atmosphere through another H14 HEPA/ULPA filter. _x000D_
Bypassing of the cabinets to the outside is optional. The air can be released to the room. _x000D_
