EUROTUBO® slides
Glass slides are commonly used to prepare samples (cytological, hematological, microbiological, pathological, etc.) in order to observe, identify and
study them on a microscope.
Standard dimensions: 26 x 76 mm (± 0,2mm). Clear glass, 1.1 ± 0.1 mm thickness.
Ideal for routine analysis. Packed in wrapped cases of 50 units. Each case includes a silica salt pouch in order to preserve the slides from the eventual environmental humidity.
Case is identified with product code, DESCRIPTION: in four languages, batch number, bar code, expiry
date, and a visual scheme that identifies the kind of slide (with or without double frosted end, ground
or cut edges, clipped or non clipped corners…).

INSTRUCTIONS OF USE AND STORAGE:
Single use product.
Slides shall be preserved in a dry environment. It is recommended not to store cases in direct contact of the floor.
The shelf life of the glass slides depends on multiple variables: basically, storage, transport, and handling conditions. Extreme variations in temperature and humidity during any of the previous situations (storage, transport, handling) strongly alter the properties of the glass, so an accurate control over these variables ismandatory in order to ensure the quality of the slides at the moment of use.
The composition of the glass includes certain elements that, once combined with humidity, may produce alterations on the glass surface. Alterations may be visible as white spots, or a white haze. After some time, the haze covers the whole surface of the slide, and it cannot be cleaned then.
There should not appear alterations on the glass within the expiry date if all the instructions and recommendations of transport, handling and storage are followed.
Strong variations of the temperature and humidity shall be avoided. Although every case of 50 units is supplied with a silica salt pouch, this does not guarantee that eventual condensations may appear, furthermore if instructions are not followed.
Available with polished or cut edges of 45º and 90º.
Expiry date: 24 months.
