Safety containers

Clasification of waste by type:

Type I waste: medical waste treated as municipal waste.

Easy management (cardboard, paper, office equipment, kitchens, garages, gardening and non infectious patients waste).

Type II waste: non specific medical waste.

Preventive measures in the handling, collection, storage and transport in the field of health centre (dressing materials, plasters, clothing and single use material contaminated with blood, secretions and/or excretions).

Type III waste: specific health waste or risk waste.

Preventive measures in the handling, collection, storage, transportation, treatment and disposal, as they may pose a health risk to workers and the public. They can be divided into 5 groups: medical waste or infectious anatomical waste, blood and blood products in liquid, needles, sharps and live attenuated vaccines.

Type IV waste: waste specified in singular regulations. Subject to especial requirements from the point of view of hygiene and environment. Include: cytostatic waste, chemical residues, expired pharmaceuticals, minerals and synthetic oils, waste metals, radioactive waste and human anatomical remains entity. Security containers:

PURPOSE OF USE - DESCRIPTION

Made of totally incinerable virgin materials.

All of them comply with the majority of European and international approvals (UN (UN 3291) ADR, etc.).

Suitable for type II and III solid waste.

Composed of a screen-printed body with the anagram of danger and two covers for different uses. One of them covers the entire mouth of the

container and can be hermetically and irreversibly closed to avoid losses during transport.

The other can be closed either temporarily or permanently hermetically and incorporates a rectangular opening of 70 x 42 mm, and two

devices that facilitate the extraction of dental and analytical needles.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:

  • Place the lid on the container before use.
  • Sharp and sharp objects are introduced into the container through the hole in the lid equipped with a small red lid (available with permanent closure or reopening systems). It is not recommended to use the containers supplied without the needle disconnection system as well
  • as, its use for unprotected sharp and cutting objects.

  • Do not exceed the maximum filling capacity (maximum up to 80% of actual capacity up to the discharge edge), to avoid that during use, the
  • Pressure of materials inside the container causes drilling accidents. The maximum filling limit is marked on the container.

  • Do not place sharp or sharp objects inside the container with the tip up, to avoid incidents during the closing phase.
  • During use, always keep the container on a rigid flat surface. Do not lean or place the container against people.
  • Before handling and moving the container, carefully check the integrity of the side walls, cover and bottom.
  • Handle and move the container using the handles, avoiding grabbing the container from the sides or from below.
