Sterile swabs (2 units)
Sterile swabs for clinical use, designed for the collection of biological samples.
Mainly used for the preparation of smears (stained and then observed through amicroscope). Also useful for isolations in culture media.
Expiry date: 4 years from sterilisation date (sterilisation by ethylene oxide).
Certificates of sterilisation available on request.
Swabs are also useful for surface spreading techniques, required in antibiotic susceptibility testing for instance.
Other applications include the cleaning of biological cavities or of hard to reach places.
Swabs for the collection of microbiological samples are ISO 9002 manufactured and have the CE Marking 0318, Class IIa. Copies of both certificates are available upon request.
Deltalab is one of the few European companies to hold the CE Mark Class IIa, being therefore allowed to sell its swabs to other EC members and to those countries demanding the highest product quality.
