Cary Blair. Sterile
Product specifically designed for the collection of microbiological samples and their conservation during transport from the collection site to the laboratory, avoiding variations of the microbial load.
The set consists of:
- A sterile capped tube, with round bottom, 13 x 165 mm, made of rigid and non-deformable polypropylene. The tube contains the means of transport.
* Wood with cotton head (code 300280)
* Polystyrene (slightly flexible under pressure, can be cut by scissors) with viscose head (code 300280.2)
Both versions have a safety cap that perfectly closes the tube (red polyethylene cap).
A label that seals the cap and tube. It is planned to write: name of the patient, date and time of the sample, number, doctor, nature of the sample, and name of the hospital. The expiration date, the batch number, the DESCRIPTION: of the product and its brand are also indicated. A plastic peel-packthat preserves the sterility of the set until the moment of use. The batch number, the expiration date, the code, the barcode, the product DESCRIPTION: and brand, and the instructions for use are printed on it (see design on next page).
Manufactured in a white room.
Expiration date: 30 months from the day of sterilization.
A sterilization certificate can be provided upon request.
Recommended storage and transport temperature: between 2 and 30ºC.
Swabs designed for collection of microbiological samples in open wounds are manufactured.
They are also ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 compliant and have the CE Marking. The CE Mark allowstheir use in surgery as invasive products. Copies of any of the three certificates are available upon request.
