Sterilisation indicator tape
Self-adhesive sterilisation indicator tape. Can be stuck on various materials such as plastic, metal,
clothing, paper, cardboard, etc. With high adhesion glue, they offer good resistance to heat and
moisture and are very difficult to break.
They should not be used as validators for sterilisers or sterilisation processes.
Tape made of paper saturated with natural rubber and resin dry adhesive. Designed to be used with individual units to show that they have been exposed to autoclave sterilisation and to differentiate between sterilised and non-sterilised units. Packaged in a single pouch with printed pouch and
batch. Not to be used in any process other than autoclaving. The light green printed stripes turn to medium/dark green when the tape has already been sterilised under the following conditions:
- Exposure to a temperature of 121 °C for 10 minutes.
- Exposure to a temperature of 134 °C for 2 minutes.
Total thickness: 0.120mm
Adhesion to steel: 6.5/25mm
MD Elongation at break: 4,5%.
This reference meets the requirements of ISO 11140-1:2015, type 1e1.
