E.S.R. citrate tube

It is used for the determination of globular sedimentation rate.

Sodium citrate acts by fixing calcium and is the preferred anticoagulant for globular sedimentation rate tests.

Upholstered and labeled tubes, in transparent polypropylene. Anticoagulant sodium citrate at 3.8% Sterile. The proportion calculated according to Westergren's method is a part of citrate to add 4 parts blood. That is, the tubes contain 0.4 ml of a stable sodium citrate solution 3.8%, and on the root of the label marks 2.0ml (therefore adding 1.6ml of blood, up to where it indicates the date of the label). The shape of the stopper ensures comfortable and reliable handling. No slips with the gloves. The tubes are labeled: Indication of volume, expiration and number of ensures traceability of the product. They come in 100-unit racks.

COMPONENTS:

Tube in ultra-clear polypropylene and black stopper in low density polyethylene. Inert. Labelling with root arrow, code printing, batch number and expiration. (15 months since manufacturing) Loses stability above 55oC.

Packed in black bag to avoid exposure to light and its consequent oxidation. No expose to the sun. It is advisable to store at a temperature below 45oC.
