Wood tongue depressors

Single use product. Tongue depressor with smooth rounded edges. Made from high-quality, non toxic and biocompatible wood, polished to provide a smooth, splinter-free finish.

Odour and taste free.

Model 441242.2 is sterilized by ethylene oxide. This model includes instructions for use.

Allergy or hyper sensibility cases due to its use are not known.

They have enough mechanical consistency to assure the lack of breakages during its use.

Used as tongue depressor to get a correct visualization of the mouth area and to prevent contamination during the taking of throat and nasopharynx samples.

This product intends to ease the mouth sample taking by sanitary specialized staff and on the appropriate hygienic conditions.

Do not use if there is damage or breakage signs on the package.

Once used, it must be decontaminated or be treated as a contaminated hospital waste.

No special storage and conservation are needed, only to preserve the integrity of the package.

A part from its use as tongue depressor, they are very useful to spread ointments and balms, shaking of liquids or mix medicines.
