Sterile swabs
Sterile swabs for clinical use, designed for the collection of biological samples.
Mainly used for the preparation of smears (stained and then observed through a microscope). Also useful for isolations in culture media.
Certificates of sterilization are available on request. The sterilization method is printed on the packaging.
Swabs are also useful for surface spreading techniques, required in antibiotic susceptibility testing for instance.
Other applications include the cleaning of biological cavities or places hard to reach.
Swabs for the collection of microbiological samples in open wounds are manufactureg according to the ISO 9001 & ISO 13485 standards, and have the CE Marking 0318, Class IIa. Copies of both certificates are available upon request.

On both packagings types the following data are printed: product code, DESCRIPTION: and brand, batch number and expiry date.
Expiry date: 4 year from sterilization.
Quantity per pallet: 54 boxes.
Expiration: 48 months.
