90 x 14 mm Petri Dish

90 mm diameter x 14 mm high Petri dish. Aseptic (code 200209 is also sterile). Made of high transparency polystyrene.

For use in microbiology laboratories, genetics, diagnosis techniques, production or investigation.

Petri dishes are used as containers for a variety of solid and semi-solid culture media, for culturing of all kinds of organisms or microorganisms, aerobes and/or anaerobes.

All dishes, except models with 2 or 3 compartments, can be used for specific procedures and diagnosis techniques such as antibiotic susceptibility testing and antigen-antibody reactions.

Ventilation lugs on underside of lids allow venting, favour the exchange of oxygen or other gases, and allow evaporation resulting from physiological processes of growing micro-organisms.

The code 200200.4 is not vented, and it is used for culturing of anaerobic bacteria.

Flat surface. Dishes are easily stackable thanks to the raised ridges around their tops.

They are supplied in bags of twenty pieces.

Code 200209 is STERILE BY RADIATION.

Codes 200202 and 200203:

Code 200202 has TWO COMPARTMENTS of equal size.

Code 200203 has THREE COMPARTMENTS of equal size.

These dishes with compartments allow the use of two or three different culture media in a same dish, according to the model.

They also allow different seed germination works so as to obtain different results on a same dish.

They are space-saving and medium-saving.
