90 x 25 mm Petri dishes
Petri dish 90 mm diameter x 25 mm height. Made of highly transparent polystyrene. No winds. Plates with a flatter surface than conventional ones, which saves 10% in culture medium and 35% in raw materials (polystyrene). It is used as a container for different solid and semi-solid culture media, for the general growth of all types of aerobic and/or anaerobic organisms or microorganisms. Its height of 25 mm makes it ideal for the growth and cultivation of trials with special culture media for fungi since it accepts a larger volume of culture medium. Ideal in mycology, histology, pathology, as well as for botanical or plant physiology tests, allowing the growth of seeds. Furthermore, its greater capacity (height) makes it useful for implementing immunological gel diffusion techniques and for testing antibiotics and chemotherapeutic drugs. The transparency of the material allows perfect visualization of the type and size of the colonies. Stackable and compatible with automatic filling instruments. Manufactured in class 100, certified sterile using USP XXIII procedures. We recommend stainless steel baskets, codes H-600 and series, for transport and/or storage.
