Blood collection tubes - Special pediatrics
Tubes made of ultra-clear high-strength polypropylene, supplied in high-strength racks expanded polystyrene (100 tubes per rack).
Very elastic pre-perforated rubber stopper that has cuts that by their special design automatically recover their waterproofness after the introduction and extraction of the sample.
Material: thermoplastic rubber. Color: blue (organic/inorganic coloring).
Tubes labeled. Label indications: Eurotubo mark® DESCRIPTION:/code, lot/expiration date and root arrow at 1 or 2 ml depending on the model.
Suitable for use in most automatic or manual analytical procedures.
Suitable for pneumatic transport in hospital.

SPECIFIC USES
Additive: aqueous solution of Citrate 3 Na with 5.5 h4O crystallization (0.106 M) and buffered with citric acid at pH 5.5, with the appropriate condoms
for its stability.
Activity: as an anticoagulant precipitating the Ca++ ion of the blood avoiding clotting.
Content: trisodic citrate solution 0.10 – 0.136 mol/litre. Initial volume tolerance of the additive ± 10 %.
Purpose: for the determination of blood CLOTTING FACTORS (protombine time, partial thromboplastin time, cephalin time,
fibrinogen, antithrombin III, etc.)
Its total content is 1 part citrate per 9 parts of freshly extracted blood.
Blood is stable at room temperature only 4 hours after extraction, once the blood is mixed with citrate it is recommended to keep it at 4oC.
Stability: for both references, at room temperature, a validity period of 15 months from its manufacture is guaranteed.
Storage: do not continuously expose to the sun, it is recommended to store at a temperature below 45oC.
Disposal: by incineration at 500oC with a residue of about 2% of the mass of the tube (mainly calcium carbonate).
