Tubos con EDTA tripotásico
El EDTA tripotásico actúa fijando el calcio y evitando el desarrollo de la coagulación sanguínea.
Está preparado para una proporción de 1,75 mg/ml en base a la Norma ISO 6710:1995.
Las sales potásicas del EDTA son más solubles en sangre que las sódicas, por lo que es más recomendable su uso.
Lleva además un conservante antimicrobiano.
Todos los tubos llevan el anticoagulante atomizado en el interior del tubo. El anticoagulante atomizado permite una mezcla instantánea con la sangre y facilita una excelente actuación del producto, minimizando el riesgo de coagulación.
Debe agitarse suavemente el tubo (5 veces) después de incorporar la sangre, para evitar la formación de microcoágulos
